Gyokuro is one of the most precious and appreciated Japanese teas for its intense fresh and umami taste.
It comes from shaded Japanese green tea plantations that develop an interesting body and savoriness to the infusion.
This gyokuro is cultivated by the Henta family at the foot of Mount Kirishima where their tea farm has been located since 1968.

It is a premium gyokuro where different cultivars intersect: mainly Yukatamidori followed by Okumidori and Saemidori.

This year too, we managed to get some of this excellent Gyokuro at a special price considering the very high quality of the leaves.
